And is anyone here having bad ping problems with their NTL cable modem? Mine's been shit for days...

Fozz, I own Soldier of Fortune 2, but don't play it online. After playing Tac Ops, I feel quite frustrated at blasting people for 5 mins to have to kill them, so other FPS are a bit lame. 'Cept AVP2. Thats ok. I have been known to dabble in MMORPG's in the past, but its became too time consuming to keep playing them.

ntl are blowing atm. common belief was there was one big cable server and one big modem server for running. the modem one is true but the cable one isnt! they have two servers instead and the majority of people are stuck on the shite one! dunno if they re-config'ing it or just being cunts. so give em a gob full! thats what ive been told anyway
if you're on 56k, there still is a problem. what they do is pile the sending packets when playing online games so it heeps up and u lag out totally! you get 'net_error:wsaeintr' or sommats like that (wsaeintr for sure). anyone else get this? if so, ill post solution if u need it [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

i had a problem getting to play CS last nite.

it kept on disconecting me just before i started the game, which was shit...i forgot what it said

but i think it said something like my client dll file is wrong or not comaptible with the server, or something

but...i think most of my .dll (dynamic link library) files are fucked, coz im shit
